EC3 Networks could already contribute to many interesting projects. Below you find a short description of selected projects that EC3 Networks has realised successfully. Furthermore, the project descriptions provide an insight of possible scopes of application for our products & services.

Country Portal for Finnish Tourism

Again EC3 Networks can compete in a public tender on European level and is commissioned with the relaunch of www.visitfinland.com. This project will be completed in July 2009. For design and development of this portal, EC3 Networks works very closely together with the Finnish tourism industry as well as the Finnish Tourism Association (MEK). Almost the whole EC3Networks product portfolio is used in this project.

In a European-wide public tender EC3 is successful against about 70 competitors and is awarded with the European Commission's order for the development of the European Tourism Portal. This about two million Euro project has first been presented to the public at the conference of the tourism ministers at the Viennese Imperial Palace (Wiener Hofburg).

UbiqVistas

Together with a consortium from Austria and Middle-/Easteurope EC3 Networks elaborates a prottype that allows to directly remote control web cameras via from a video-capable handset. A prototype application is installed at the Gloriette at Schonbrunn Palace (Schloss Schönbrunn) as well as at the main square of Bratislava.

Meta Search Engine

In a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth, EC3 Networks develops a generic Meta Suche – in this case for the prototypic example of accommodations in tourism.
